Deadlines work. That is why we encourage students to set a goal of finishing projects by Christmas. It's a great strategy!
If you want to put it into a book, the formatting part can be daunting. To help our students clear that hurdle, we taught a live, interactive workshop via Zoom now available for you as a replay.
We walk you through how to do your book's layout using Blurb's free Bookwright software.
Blurb is a book printing service offering everything from trade paperbacks to full-color coffee table books. They created an easy-to-use, free software program called BookWright, which is what we use in this course.
Be advised that the catch with using BookWright for free is that you must print your book using Blurb's service. We picked this software, however, because it has the easiest learning curve and because we have been happy with Blurb's printing. Their quality, pricing, and turnaround time are great.
Even if you ultimately choose different software, the tricks you learn will help you with other programs.
